Sunset Speedway Park Ready For Highway Heavy Hauling Night On Saturday June 23rd

Banks, Oregon- Racing returns to the “Banks Bullring” this Saturday, June 23rd. It will be Highway Heavy Hauling Night and should produce some enjoyable racing that you don’t want to miss. Classes in attendance include the Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars, 4-Bee’s, and both Micro Sprint divisions.
In the Pure Stocks Tanner Krohling leads the win list, with two, while drivers who have parked it in victory lane once include Bert Pegg and Tim Zurita. In the 4-Bee’s William Wolfe became the most recent driver to conquer the field. Ryan Conroy has an impressive five wins while Wolfe is joined by Captain Turnabout and Austin Henderson as driver with one victory to their credit. There has yet to be a repeat victor in the Dwarf Cars as the winner’s circle has seen Shane Youngren, Jeremiah Hester, Jake Tupper, and Josh Rodgers celebrate.
The Micro Restricted division has yet to see a repeat winner. Gracing the winner’s circle include Dakota Drake, Lane Taylor, Allison Johnson, and Jo Jo Batalgia. The same statistic can be stated for the Micro Open class. Drivers that have gotten the job done in that won are Evan Margeson, Chance Crum, Jesse Schlotfeldt, and Jeff Little.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Time Trials begin at 5:30, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00.
