Bert Pegg Wins Bud Light Iron Man 100; Captain Turnabout And Dakota Vorseth Also Get SSP Wins

Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park would have another action packed event on Saturday, June 2nd. The “Banks Bullring” would host the Bud Light Iron Man 100, the biggest Pure Stock race of 2018. In addition to the Pure Stocks the 4-Bees and New Bees would also be on the card.
Bert Pegg, of Vancouver, Washington, would conquer the field in the Pure Stocks. He would also record his first career Iron Man 100. It is also his first victory of 2018.
Captain Turnabout would show no quarter to the 4-Bee fleet. The helmsman from Vancouver, Washington would collect the winner’s booty for the first occasion this year. Dakota Vorseth managed to collect his first win of the campaign in the New Bee ranks.
Saturday, June 9th, Sunset Speedway Park is back for Kids Night. All Kids get into the races for FREE and there will be plenty of cars racing to get everyone’s racing fix filled. Super Late Models, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, 4-Bees, New Bees, and both Micro Sprint divisions will be on hand.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Time Trials begin at 5:30, with Racing kicking off at 6:30. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. Tickets, apparel, and more can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com .
