Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park would have a full house both in the stands and in the pits for the Saturday June 25th Fan Appreciation Night presented by Rockstar. A whopping seven classes were on hand at the “Banks Bullring” including the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Bridgeport Logistic Street Stocks, IMCA Sport Mods, Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars, and 4-Bee’s.

Hometown driver Greg Walters would win the Northwest Extreme Late Model feature. The Banks driver would be piloting a Jimmy Schram owned entry and dominated once he got out to the front. It was Walters’ first win this season at SSP.

In the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds Bubba Foster was the man to beat. Once the Dayton driver got to the front there was nothing holding him back. Foster would capture his first win of the 2016 season.

Arnie Case of Vancouver, Washington would take care of business yet again in the Bridgeport Logistics Street Stocks. After a couple of brief battles with some potential challengers Case would hold everyone back to win his fourth straight feature and third in a row.

Michael Melton found the winner’s circle for the second time in the current IMCA Sport Mod campaign. Melton, of Vancouver, Washington, had a handle the competition and is now tied with John Henry for most triumphs this year.

In the Pure Stocks Trevor LaBarge would reign supreme come main event time. The Forest Grove phenom would set sail once obtaining the lead and managed to win his fourth race in five starts.

In the Dwarf Cars it was Tigard’s Shane Youngren rising to the occasion. Once Youngren got in the coveted top spot it was only a matter of who was second. Youngren now has four Dwarf Car victories at SSP this season.

Last but not least was the 4-Bee’s. Tylor Owen would once again be the entry everyone else was chasing. Owen would remain in front once he had obtained the lead. It would the second week in a row that Tylor has inhabited the winner’s circle.
