SUNSET SPEEDWAY HELP WANTED

Are you looking for something to do on the weekends? Something exciting? We may have what you are looking for. Sunset Speedway is looking to hire a few awesome team members to our staff. We race every Saturday and a couple Fridays starting April 23rd through September 24th. We are looking for dedicated staff for these positions. These are every weekend, not here and there positions. The positions we are looking to fill are below:

Front Gate Attendant – Must be 18, have awesome customer service skills, great attitude, verifiable money handling experience, good at math and cashiering skills a must. Reliable, trustworthy and have a smile on your face. ? This position starts at 3:30pm to set up front gate and gates open at 4pm and remain open until races are over around 10pm. This position is cashiering and customer service.

Merchandise Booth Attendant / Kids Club Helper – Must be 18, have AWESOME customer service skills, great attitude, verifiable money handling experience, math and cashiering skills. Reliable, trustworthy and have a smile on your face. Must love kids and people!!! And of course have sales skills. This position starts at 3:30pm to set up merchandise booth and racks, front gates open at 4pm and merchandise will remain open until races are over around 10pm. Sales, Sales and more Sales.

Back gate/Scoring Assistant – Must be 18, have awesome customer service skills, verifiable money handling experience, math and cashiering skills a must. Knowledge of race procedures and line ups highly desired. Reliable, trustworthy and positive attitude. This position will be working the back gate from 1:30-5:30 then transferring to the tower with the Scoring gal to assist and help with scoring, lap counting and line ups, then back to back gate at end of the night to assist with payout.

Runner/Pit Steward – Can be a high school student or older, must be reliable, good attitude, able to run/walk quickly as this is a face paced position helping round up cars in the pits to assist the line-up coordinator nightly. We do have a couple runners, so we are able to rotate weekends if needed. This position starts around 4:30-5:30 and goes until the last Main is lined up and ready to roll on the track around 10pm.
