Banks, Oregon- 2014 was a season where Craig Cassell would win the IMCA State Championship for Oregon and was runner-up in local track points at Willamette Speedway. Fast forward to 2015 and the Albany driver has had a rough season. He has been shut out of the winner's circle all year long but if there is a consolation it is that he currently leads the Sunset Speedway Park point standings for the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds.

“It's been a really rough year and full of bad luck,” said Cassell, “I feel like I've let my fans and sponsors down but we'll try and keep digging.”

The Ester Lee Motel of Lincoln City/Corvallis Seed & Feed/Dr. Mary Harada Breast Cancer Specialist/Debra Herndon Family Nurse Practitioner/Mid Valley Farms/Trevor Glaser Motorsports/American Hero Carpet Cleaning/Arco AM/PM of Stayton/CRD Race Bodies and Fabrication/Beakbuilt Race Cars/Driving Force Graphics/Frank's Fab & Auto of Brownsville #25 Rocket by Ruhlman entry had a decent run on Friday July 10th at Cottage Grove Speedway but would get caught up in a bad wreck on the final lap. Craig sustained so much damage that his ability to make an appearance at the Dancin Bare Topless Modified 100 in jeopardy. The crew is hard at work as we speak to get the “Two-Five Express” back out there.

“I think I have everything fixed now so I'm just waiting on parts,” Craig continued, “if the parts don't come and we aren't able to make it then most likely we're going to take some time off. With all this bad luck it really has cut into our overall budget to race all year.”
