Banks, Oregon- The patriotic folks at Klecker Knives offer up some cool bonus prizes to the feature winners on Independence Day, Saturday July 4th, at Sunset Speedway Park's Baseline Pawn Firecracker 100. The drivers having a Warrior Mohawk haircut when receiving their A-Main trophy will also receive a KLAX Woodsmen. All drivers, crew, and track officials who attend the driver’s meeting with a Warrior Mohawk will be eligible for other prizes.
“We want to celebrate America's warrior culture this Independence Day while honoring those who currently serve, have served, and will serve in the future.” commented Glenn Klecker, “Being able to wear a Mohawk is an example of American freedom, a personal liberty protected by the Constitution, defended by our military.”
Classes on the card include the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and 4-Bees. And to cap the whole night off will be a massive fireworks display.
Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 3:30, and racing starts at 6:00. Tickets are Adults $15.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $13.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $8.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a Family Pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $55.00.
