Sunset Speedway Park would be quite busy on Saturday June 27th for Fan Appreciation Night presented by Rockstar. In addition to the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series on the card so was the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, IMCA Sport Mods, Pure Stocks, 4-Bees, Micro Sprints, and the Northwest Dwarf Cars.

Banks native Rob Ireland would obtain the lead late in the Budweiser IMCA Modified feature to capture his second win of the season at SSP in his Ireland & Ireland at Law/Privateer Racing/Klecker Knives/Applebee Aviaiton #8 Dirt Works by Hoffman. In the Street Stock division Brian Roden of West Linn continued to show his dominance. Getting the lead on lap six Roden, in his JNR Contruction/Molecular Motions #14 Camaro, he would be in front the rest of the way to collect his fourth win of the year.

Tillamook's Aaron Blanchard seized the on lap five of the Pure Stock feature and stayed there in his  AB Repair/Burden Muffler And Towing/PAPE John Deere/Peterson Cat #30 Camaro for his first win in 2015. The Perfection Automotive/21st Century Towing/Meyers Auto Body/Freeman Tile #12X FR1 , of Vancouver, Washington's Pamela Graham, would get the lead late in the IMCA Sport Mod feature to blaze the trail for the last handful of laps to win her third race of the current campaign.

Chris Batalgia found his way back to victory lane once again in the 4-Bee ranks. The Sweere's Trucking/Auto-Inter Automotive/O'Reilly's Auto Parts #38 Dodge Neon, of Batalgia and from nearby Forest Grove, was in front the entire distance to win his fifth triumph of the season. Springfield's Jeff Broadwell got the job done in the Micro Sprint feature to win his first race of the year in the Dorman Construction/X-Factor Race Cars #4B PMP. The highest finishing Restricted Micro was Ashleigh Johnson and it would be the second win for the Ferndale, Washington driver in her Highline Performance/Brien Ford/Edaleen Dairy/Stephanie Edson Photography #0 D1. Holding on for the win in the Northwest Dwarf Cars was Guy Tow Sr. of Rainier for his first win for the Two Guys Racing #46 M&M team.

Sunset Speedway Park returns to action on Independence Day, on Saturday July 4th, for the Firecracker 100 presented by Baseline Pawn. Classes on the card include the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and 4-Bees. And to cap the whole night off will be a massive fireworks display.

Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 3:30, and racing starts at 6:00. Tickets are Adults $15.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $13.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $8.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a Family Pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $55.00.
