2014 Sunset Speedway Park Season Opener Set For Saturday May 3rd

Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park is chomping at the bit to get their first race of 2014 in the books. It looks like the dirt will finally get a chance to fly this Saturday May 3rd as the season is scheduled to get underway that evening. Classes in action include the Northwest Extreme Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, 4-Bee’s, 600cc Open Micros, and the 600cc Restricted Micros.
SSP was able to complete a practice on Saturday April 12th but unfortunately have lost the last couple of weekends to weather. Don't miss out on the action this Saturday May 3rd as a new chapter begins in the rich history of the "Banks Bullring".
Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 3:30, and racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
