USMTS rained out at Menomonie, headed for Superior

By USMTS PR (Menominie, WI) -- The fourth round of the USMTS Hunt for the Casey's Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental at the Red Cedar Speedway on Thursday, Aug. 10, has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Heavy rain last night coupled with a promise of more this afternoon and i nto the evening has prompted officials to pull the plug on tonight's show.

The series heads for the Amsoil Speedway in Superior, Wis., on Friday, Aug. 11. The pit gate opens at 3 p.m. and grandstand gates open at 5. Hot laps begin at 6:30 with racing to follow at 7 p.m. Wissota Super Stocks, Midwest Mods and Pure Stocks will also be running.

Tickets are $20 for those ages 13 and older while. Coupons good for $2 off adult admission are available at the Casey's General Store located at 302 SR 23 South in Sandstone, Minn. Cory Crapser of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and his No. 07 Mountain Dew Spiked Lemonade modified will be there from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and fans can get a special "Hot ticket" worth $5 off admission directly from the driver.

Kids ages 12 and under get in for free. Pit passes are $30. Suites are also available by calling Joe at (218) 349-7367.

The Amsoil Speedway is a semi-banked 3/8-mile clay oval located 3.0 miles south of Superior on Tower Ave. (SR 35), at the Head of the Lake Fairgrounds in Superior, Wis. For more information, visit amsoilspeedway.com.
