11th-place finish with World of Outlaws at Plymouth

Picking back up with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, Cade Dillard traveled to Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) on Friday evening as the series made his debut at the brand new quarter-mile oval. In a field of 33 cars, Cade came in second in his heat race behind Billy Moyer, sending him into the redraw. Receiving the fourth-starting position for the opening night feature, Dillard brought out the first caution of the race on lap 28 when he suffered a broken rear end.

On Saturday afternoon at Plymouth Speedway (Plymouth, Ind.), Dillard posted a seventh-place finish in his heat, which positioned him 19th on the starting grid for the finale. With $10,000 on the line, Cade passed eight cars in the 40-lapper to finish 11th.

Cade is currently fifth in the latest World of Outlaws point standings.
