Lafayette, AL (7/29/22) --- Despite threatening skys from MotherNature, Penton Motor Speedway forged ahead with Friday's United Championship Racing Alliance - UCRA 604/Crate Late Model: Red Line Bama Duals 2 showdown presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil. Hometrack racer Chase Edge didn't disappoint, grabbng the lead from Jake Traylor early and taking the field to the checkers, to earn a $3,000 payday. Dylan Knowles of Lynette, AL kept the "Knotts Towing, Edges Gas & Go, Jeff Dodger Logging" sponsored leader in his sights but could not pull off the pass. Traylor of La Grange, GA a previous winner with the UCRACity/Columbus on the Alabama/Georgia border Saturday for the second RLBD's event. If Edgie can pull off another victory he'll earn an additional $1,000 for his efforts. Current reigning, defending UCRA champion and points leader Kenny Kizzar of Sale Creek, TN rallied from 11th to finish 6th respectfully. The series heads to East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City/Columbus on the Alabama/Georgia border for another1,000 50 lap, $3,000 to win race.
