Tri State Late Models added to August 22nd Show at Park Jefferson
GRP Motorsports and Park Jefferson Speedway are pleased to announce that the Tri-State Late Model Series has been added to the show for this Saturday August 22nd. The 700 horsepower late models will bring an added flair to the weekend with many fans looking forward to seeing the return of late models where they ran for so many years. Point leader Blair Nordruft is one of a number of contenders who is likely to be on hand for the late models. Along with the drivers from Southeastern South Dakota, drivers from Nebraska are also invited to challenge for the purse. While the standard purse is $1,000 to win, series promoters Mike Gross is working with sponsors to increase the winners share to $2000 for the event.
Gates will open at 4pm for spectators, 5pm for fans. Adult tickets are $17, seniors 65+ are $15, children 6-16 are $5 and under 6 are free. Joining the late models is the first ever visit of the Midwest Power Series Sprint Cars, RACESaver Sprints, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks.
