Transponder useage during the 2021 Season

Use of transponders for the 2021 season. The following classes will be using transponders this year: IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Mods and Hobbies. In the heat race, if you do not have an activated working transponder, you will be scored one place below what you have finished. If you come out for the feature, with no activated working transponder, you will be scored last. During the course of a race if a working transponder stops working, you will still get the place you finish, either in the heat or feature race.

The MCRA Bomber class will be allowed to use transponders if they wish, to see their lap times after the race. This will not be mandatory usage of the them. IF however, during the season, the class grows to have 16 - 20 cars in the feature, we may have to consider their use. We will let you know several weeks in advance on that decision.
