Murray County Speedway
Races for May 15th - June 5th Canceled

We are anxious to get the season started as everyone else is. We will not be able to race without fans. We count on fans, concession and beer sales to pay expenses and payouts. We also feel it is not fair and right to our sponsors and advertisers, and sponsors on cars, if we do not have fans in the stands. We want everyone involved to feel like they got their money's worth so they will sponsor and advertise with us and the drivers in the future. We are a track for the fans and drivers.
The opening night races for this Friday May 15th are canceled. We are now receiving information, on how we must prepare to have our FANS back into the the grandstand. We are going to need to adjust some areas of what will be available on race nights. When we feel comfortable to have protection for our workers, drivers and fans, an announcement will be made for opening night at the Speedway. No one else, more than the board of directors of the speedway, wants to get the season started as soon as possible. We just need to get the new polices in order.
