Lebanon Midway announces USRA Modified Race-Sept 22
By Ronnie Williams (Lebanon, MO) -- Lebanon Midway Speedway has announced a race for The USRA Modifieds on Saturday. Sept.22nd.
The race will be part of the Fall Survivor Series which starts on Saturday Sept.8th with The Bud Perry Memorial event.
" As The racing season around the area draws to the Fall season, many tracks start to close, but for the last 2 seasons Midway's has really picked-up speed. With The USRA National Points going all the way until the last of October, we realize that many drivers don't get that chance to better themselves in the standings.
We will sanction the race for what we call A Mods so those drivers get a shot at some points. Bud's Tire and Wheel has jumped aboard and will award the following, The feature winner will recieve a Free American Racer G60 tire( Bud's is the Southwest Missouri area tire deal located in Springfield), 2nd place gets a New Black Racing wheel and 3rd place a $25 certificate to Bud's. The feature right now will pay as follows 1) 500 2) 320 3) 210 4) 170 5) 145 6) 135 7) 125 8) 105 9) 90 10) 85 11 and Beyond 80.
Open Draw-passing points and redraw top 6 for starting spots-No Entry Fee-Just Pit Pass.
More updates or changes will be posted.We are working on some additional sponsorship to add to the purse. We will also run the Out Pace USRA B Modifieds presented by S&S U-Pull It Auto Parts along with our other classes and The B Modifieds will be awarded National Points.
The Lebanon Midway Speedway is a 1/3 mile dirt oval located 6 miles East of Lebanon on Highway 32 and 1/4 mile right on B Highway.
The Speedway will start the 2018 Fall Survivor Series on Saturday night, Sept. 8th with The 2nd Annual Bud Perry Classic with USRA Out Pace B Modifieds competing for $500 to win with the following payout 2) 350 3) 225 4) 175 5) 150 6) 125 7) 100 8th and beyond 75. Run a B and don't qualify-35.
