Macon Speedway has also announced involvement in the event, which will include driver appearances and more.

The website www.realracefans.com has been designed for this unprecedented event that will be held at Infusion at 2882 Dineen St, Decatur, IL 62526 on January 24, 2017. From 6-7 pm kids are provided an opportunity to meet Mason Mitchell for autographs. At 7 pm, ticket holders will be welcomed inside to hear Mason live in addition to a special autograph session and meet-and-greet. Food and drinks will be available for an additional donation. Proceeds from the event will benefit two local charities, MRI (Macon Resources, Inc.) and The Decatur YMCA.

The local racing scene will be involved as well, as a number of Macon Speedway champions will be on hand for a special driver meet-and-greet that will include autographs and more. The Macon Speedway 2-seat Late Model will be on hand for picture opportunities for kids as well as the chance to see a race car up close. A ticket package from Macon Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, and the Illinois State Fair will be part of the raffle prizes up for grabs that night.

Meghan Henriques his marketing director stated “Mason has accomplished more at the young age of 22 then most people do in a career. From winning a championship as a competitor to building a top tier program as an owner Mason is a true professional and wonderful role model for todays youth. His compassion for the community and his desire to make a difference really make him one of kind both on and off the track.

Mason will also be visiting 300 Below Inc a local cryogenic processing lab to have his race car rotors treated. Mason stated “I take racing very serious and want to have every competitive advantage I can get and 300 below is going to give me one more advantage by treating my rotors. This will make them last longer and in turn increase performance.

Some of the night’s activities will include a chance to race Mason on a set of indoor Adult Power Wheels. This is a chance for all race fans in Decatur and the surrounding communities to meet and chat one on one with a NASCAR driver in a very small setting.
