Tony Stewart, Rico Abreu and Jay Drake to join the 2018 Chili Bowl Breakfast of Champions
Tony Stewart, Rico Abreu, Jay Drake and Andy Hillenburg are the latest drivers to add their names to the list of Chili Bowl champions who will be at the Chili Bowl Breakfast of Champions taking place on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Fair Meadows, located just east of the River Spirit Expo Center from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. (CT).
Three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Johnny Rutherford will be sharing with the crowd about his growing up in Tulsa and attending midget races at the Tulsa Fairgrounds in his youth. Rutherford, also known as Lone Star JR, will discuss how that shaped his life and what it means to be a Champion.
Be part of this once in a lifetime chance to sit down and have breakfast with some of the greatest open-wheel drivers of our times.
Proceeds from the event are going to Bryan Clauson’s Racers For Autism. Bryan’s buddy Ben will also be in attendance.
“You know, what Bryan started with the Racer’s For Autism is something that we want to keep supporting and this is just another way we can give back to someone who left such a mark on this sport and what’s great about the Chili Bowl is we have the facilities just across the street to get this done, so it’s not like you’re having to go across town during rush hour,” commented Chili Bowl co-founder, Emmett Hahn.
You can purchase tickets online at http://www.chilibowlboc.com, or at the Breakfast of Champions booth near the entrance turnstiles in the River Spirit Expo Center.
The 32nd annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire takes place at the Tulsa Expo Raceway, located inside the River Spirit Expo Center. Races are January 9-13, 2018.
