Hopkins, Leitzman, McClara, And Almanza Champs At Lincoln Park Speedway
PUTNAMVILLE, Ind. - Four track champions were crowned at Lincoln Park Speedway after the dust settled on another racing season at the Central Indiana facility.
AJ Hopkins topped the standings in the 410 Sprint Car division, finishing the season with six feature wins in seventeen starts. Brayden Fox started nineteen feature events and finished in the runner-up spot with eight top-five finished to his credit.
The DIRTcar UMP Modified division saw Jake Leitzman pick up the track championship over Cody Wright by eleven points. Both drivers started twenty-one feature events.
Wes McClara scored nine feature wins and picked up the Super Stock championship over Austin Phelps who had four wins. Phelps finished forty-one points behind McClara.
The Bomber track championship went to Jordan Almanza who picked up five feature wins in twenty-two starts. Josh Foxworthy finished second, ninety-eight points behind Almanza.
Lincoln Park Speedway will open their 2022 racing season on April 2nd with the Indiana Open Wheel Racing Fest. The Bill Gardner Sprintacular returns on July 1st and 2nd. King of Nonwing is scheduled for September 3rd. For more information, please visit the Lincoln Park Speedway website.
