Dustin Daggett headlines SOD Sprint field expected tonight!
Tonight brings the Sprints on Dirt to the Mt. Pleasant Speedway presented by Renegade Racing Fuels Pro Sprint Series for their lone show on the three-eighths mile dirt oval.
Portland native and all-time leading SOD feature winner Dustin Daggett sits at the top of the series points with a 178-point lead over defending series champion Ryan Grubaugh of St. Johns. Daggett also has 3 wins in the first 6 events of the season.
The Mt. Pleasant stop is also round three of the MAHLE/Clevite Short Track Series.
In addition to the sprints, tonight’s schedule at Mt. Pleasant also includes racing in Chuck’s Discount Foods UMP Modifieds, Smokers Club UMP Stock Cars, NAPA UMP Modified Minis and Mt. Pleasant and Clare Automotive Stock Minis. Gates open at 5 with racing at 7:45 p.m.
