Lebanon, Oregon- The Wingless Sprint Series returned to Willamette Speedway on Saturday, July 20th. The 1/3-mile clay oval also hosted the Super Late Model, Super Sport, Sportsman, Street Stock, and Hornet divisions. All regular Willamette classes witnessed some familiar faces returning to victory lane.

Rob Lindsey, from Sherwood, was the first to the flag stand when the checkered flag dropped to win the Wingless Sprint Series. It was the first time in a while that the 360 Non-Wing Sprint Car group had been to Willamette Speedway. Steve Moore won for the second time of 2019 in the Super Late Model class. Once again, the Scio driver would pilot the Jody Tanner owned entry into the winner’s circle.

B.J. Donofrio, of Salem, tacked on his seventh win of the campaign in the Super Sports. Tom Yeack, a native of Crawfordsville, parked his mount in victory lane for the sixth occasion. Lebanon’s Justin Evans secured his sixth triumph of the year in the Street Stocks. Lastly, in the Hornets, Eddie Farness, from Sandy, bested the field amazingly for the tenth time.

Willamette Speedway has busy doubleheader weekend ahead of them. Things get started on Friday, July 26th with the return of the Interstate Sprint Car Series. Also, the IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars will be on the card. Saturday, the 27th is reserved for the Rick Barnes Memorial. The Super Sports, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets will all be in attendance.

On Friday the Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 5:00, and Racing at 6:00. On Saturday the Front Gates open at 4:00 PM and Racing at starts at 5:00. Tickets both nights are $14.00 for Adults, Seniors (62+)/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Kids (5 or Under) FREE with a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) being offered for $35.00
