Evans and Farness Get Fast Friday Wins At Willamette; Chapman, Myers, C. Patterson, And Scofield Earn Kart Victories

Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway was back in action on Friday, June 14th, for Fast Friday. The Kage Karts kicked off their 2019 season in the infield of the 1/3-mile clay oval. On the big track the Street Stocks and Hornets were in competition.
Justin Evans, of Lebanon, scored his fourth win of the campaign in the Street Stocks. Sandy’s Eddie Farness now has an incredible five victories to his name in the Hornet division. Albany’s Eric Scofield won the Open Kage feature in the karts.
Lebanon youngster Carter Patterson got the job done in the 250cc ranks. In 5HP racing Mason Meyers won the Box Stock main and Bentleigh Chapman, of Klamath Falls, took care of business in the Beginner Box division.
Willamette Speedway returns with the Interstate Sprint Car Series, Northwest Focus Midget Series, Dwarf Cars, and Street Stocks all on the card. Then Sunday the whole weekend will be capped off with the Father’s Day Tuff Truck and Trash Car Show along with the Valley Wide UTV Shootout Series.
Saturday tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Seniors (62+)/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Kids (5 or Under) FREE. A Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Pit Passes are $30.00 each. Pit Gates open at 1:00, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 5:00.
On Sunday Front Gates open at 11:00 AM and the Show starts at 1:00 PM. Sunday tickets are tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Seniors (62+)/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Kids (5 or Under) FREE.
