Lebanon, Oregon- Saturday, June 1st marked the second, and final, night of the Strawberry Cup at Willamette Speedway. Five classes filled the card with three familiar faces visiting victory lane while two lucky individuals managed to score their first wins this season. The five divisions in action included Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, IMCA Sport Mods, and Street Stocks.

Steve Moore, of Scio, picked up a huge win in the Jody Tanner owned entry to win the Super Late Model main. It is the first time that Moore has done so in the Strawberry Cup. Albany’s Dustin Cady finally broke through for his first triumph of the 2019 season. Cady now has an impressive five total Strawberry Cup wins to his credit.

B.J. Donofrio continued his hot streak of Super Sport performances. Donofrio, of Salem, now has put together his fourth victory. It is the second straight year he has won in the Super Sports on Strawberry Cup weekend. The only driver that managed to sweep the weekend in any class was young Skylar Winebarger, from Corbett, in the IMCA Sport Mod division. Lebanon’s Justin Evans posted his third career Strawberry Cup win, and third visit to the winner’s circle in 2019, as he continues to have a successful campaign.
