Willamette Speedway For August 11th Action; Karts On Sunday The 12th

Lebanon, Oregon- Two events are on deck for the historical Willamette Speedway. The whole party gets started on Saturday, August 11th with IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets in competition on the 1/3-mile clay oval. Sunday, the 12th, features the return of the Kart program with Hot Laps, followed by racing, scheduled to get kicked off around Noonish.
For Saturday Front Gates open at 3:00 PM with Racing around 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. In the IMCA Modified division Collen Winebarger is atop the win list with the most trips to victory lane, with five. Dustin Cady and Bricen James are level with four triumphs each while Grey Ferrando has won twice and John Campos scoring a single win. The IMCA Sport Mods will be making a rare Saturday night appearance and Jorddon Braaten hopes to return to his winning ways as he not only leads the point standing but also the win list with his five victories. Bruce Ray has two wins to his credit while one-time victors include Mike Medel and Justin McCreadie. In the Sportsman division Ryan Emry leads the points table and has the most winner’s circle appearance in the division with three. Jeff Rash and James Slover are both two-time victors with Randy Boyd, Steve Piefer, Chad Slover, and Tom Yeack all winning once.
Justin Evans is on a hot streak in the Street Stocks with four overall wins he has been triumphant in the last two races. Current point leader Dakota Godard has managed to put together three victories while Kevin Roberts and Kyle Yeack each have two wins to their name. Single race victors include Collen Winebarger and McKenzie Lockhart. Finally, in the Hornet class standings leader K.C. Scott and Eddie Farness are tied for most victories, with three each. Tracy Muse has won twice while one-time winners include Matt Diller, James Donaldson, and Josh Corley.
