Lebanon, Oregon- After a super busy weekend last Friday and Saturday Willamette Speedway has another two-night affair on deck. Things kick off Friday, July 6th with the second $5.00 Fast Friday of 2018. Saturday, the 7th, will be the V-Foundation Mid-Season Championship Night, sponsored by Corona, with the Crocker’s Cars Bicycle Giveaway. Also, Saturday night all classes will have some extra money up for grabs (details down below).
Divisions in action on Friday are the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, and IMCA Stock Cars. Saturday night will feature the Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and the Hornets.
Friday admission prices are $5.00 for General Admission and $7.00 for two while Pit Gates open at 4:00 PM, Front Gates 4:30 PM, and Racing at 7:00. Saturday the Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00.. Saturday night’s increased pay is $868 (14 Cars or less ) $1,118 (15-25 cars) for Late Models, $618.00 for IMCA Modifieds, $418.00 for Super Sports, $318.00 for Sportsman, $218.00 for Street Stocks, and $118.00 for Hornets. The V-Foundation will be handling the 50/50 Raffle as well as a silent auction so if any drivers or teams would like to donate door panels they are welcomed to do so. All proceeds from the auction and the money raised from the 50/50 Raffle will go towards cancer research. Also, the track will be conducting the 5th Annual Crocker’s Cars Bicycle Giveaway throughout the course of the evening so make sure and bring the kids to the track for a chance to win a brand-new bike.
Joey Tanner and Casey Vitale both lead the Late Model division in wins with two each while Rob Mayea and Trent Elliott have both won once. In IMCA Modified competition Collen Winebarger has scored five wins, Bricen James two, and John Campos one. B.J. Donofrio still has the most Super Sport wins in 2018, with three, while Doug Elkins is the only other multi-feature winner with two. Joey Tanner, Randy Barley, Chris Mott, and McLain Beaudoin are the four single race victors.
In the Sportsman division Ryan Emry is the only two-time winner this season. Steve Piefer, Randy Boyd, James Slover, and Tom Yeack have made one appearance in victory lane. In the Street Stocks both Justin Evans and Kyle Yeack have scored two wins with Dakota Godard, Kevin Roberts, and Collen Winebarger joining the win list with one each. The Hornets have just one repeat winner of the season, Eddie Farness with two. The rest of the incredible win list consists of K.C. Scott, Matt Diller, James Donaldson, and Josh Corley.
In the IMCA Sport Mod ranks Jorddan Braaten has amassed an incredible three triumphs while Bruce Ray has won the last two. Mike Medel and Justin McCreadie have one victory each. The IMCA Stock Car class has had three races with as many winners which are Dakota Godard, Brad Gentry, and David Cronk.
