Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway would host one of their most popular events of the season last Saturday, June 16th. Fan Appreciation Night is where the track is shut down for a short amount of time and fans are allowed to have a meet and greet with their favorite drivers. Five classes would be on the bill including the Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Sportsman, and Hornets.

Portland’s Joey Tanner continued his winning ways last Saturday with his third triumph in the Super Late Model division. Dustin Cady, of Albany, has made it two IMCA Modified victories in a row and will be a force to be reckoned with when the Wild West Modified Shootout comes to town in a few weeks. Veteran pilot Bruce Ray, now residing in Amity, would get the job done in the IMCA Sport Mod division for his first win of the year.

Longtime Willamette Speedway racer Randy Boyd, piloting a Glen Hackney fielded entry, would win his first Sportsman main event of 2018. Last but not least Eddie Farness would beat out the competition in the Hornets for his second win of the campaign.

Willamette Speedway returns to racing on Saturday, June 23rd and the Wingless Sprint Series will headline the card. IMCA Sport Mods, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Hornets will be the four other classes in action.

Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00.
