Rolling Thunder Big Rigs this Saturday!

Breaker, breaker one nine this is the snowman, you got your ears on? c'mon. We got us a convoy! The Rolling Thunder Big Rig series is rolling into Willamette Speedway Saturday night and you can guarantee the stacks will be blowing and the big diesel engines will be cranked up and rumbling for race fans who are curious about the touring big rig series.

A unique series and organization that races on both asphalt and dirt, oval and road courses. These drivers have their skills tested in many ways and are more than ready to display their driving abilities on the high speed one-third mile dirt of Willamette Speedway.

This will be their only appearance at the track this season. If you want to see the Rolling Thunder Big Rig Series without having to travel then Saturday night is your best bet.

These highly modified big rigs will surprise race fans with big time horsepower and hard core racing.

This is the only touring big rig series in the country and they travel coast to coast. Originally started in 2001 by the USA 1 race team the series grew from there and has become a major attraction at all scheduled stops.

Don't miss the event Saturday night. The Rolling Thunder Big Rig Series is going to shake the grandstands and rumble the Earth under you.

The Willamette Speedway Street Stock division is also scheduled to compete. Street Stocks provide some of the best racing action on the big one third mile. Come join us.

Gates open at 3:30 and racing gets under way at 6:30. Adults are $16, Junior/Senior/Military $12, Youth $7 and 5 and under are FREE. Family pass (2 adults and up to four youth) $40.
