Special Dash In Store For Armed Forces Remembrance Night At Willamette

Lebanon, Oregon- Saturday September 12th Armed Forces Remembrance Night at Willamette Speedway. The special admission for this event will be $5.00 for all Military members to get into the show. Classes in action include the Super Dirt Late Models, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks. In addition to the regular program there will be a special Late Model versus Super Sport trophy dash. There is also some extra bonus money for the four regular trophy dashes.
The special Late Model versus Super Sport trophy dash will feature the two fastest Late Models qualifiers against the two fastest Super Sports qualifiers. This race is $225.00 to win courtesy of Highoctane Die Cast, Desert Storm/Gulf War Veterans With PTSD, as well as Dani and Ken McLaren. Second place will receive $100.00 from Sureflow Concrete Pumping.
“We wanted to do something special for our veterans and military members,” commented Paul Moses of Highoctane Die Cast, “we are currently looking for more people to get involved in this night to make it special for our military.”
The regular Late Model trophy dash is $50.00 to win with help from Jim's Flag Sales and Swan Island Sandblasting donated $100.00 for the Super Sport dash winner. The fine folks at American Hero Carpet Cleaning and Casey Rhoades put up $50.00 for the Sportsman dash. The Street Stock dash is $75.00 to win right now with donations from Mikey Burnham, Finders Keepers, and American Hero Carpet Cleaning.

On Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
