Willamette Speedway would experience some incredibly warm temperatures as well as some extremely entertaining racing on July 18th. The historical 1/3-mile clay oval would host the Coors Clay Cup. The divisions on the card included the Super Dirt Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, and the Sportsman.

Brian Cronk would resume his dominant form as he would best the field yet again in the Super Dirt Late Models. Cronk, chauffeuring his Metro Services/Gassner Trucking/Dog Lover's Gold Dog Food/Northwest Gas Lines #29 Rocket , would visit victory lane for the fourth time in 2015. He continues to impress every one week after week.

Albany teenager Bricen James was second in the James Gang Pizza/Lebanon Auto Body/Crocker's Cars/Linn-Benton Insurance #13 Swartz followed by the L-N-L Lumber Outlet/Quadel Industries/Q2I Archery #16P Rocket of Coos Bay teenager Preston Luckman, who was third. Rounding out the top five was Collen Winebarger of Corbett in fourth, driving the Central Oregon Trucking/W.W. Trailers/Ohlins By JDR/Driving Force Graphics #31B Rocket for car owner Ron Brewster, while the Footwear Express/Cornett Racing Engines #U2 Rocket of Bruce Hipple from Salem was fifth.

In the IMCA Modifieds it would be Collen Winebarger taking care of business. Winebarger, who was pulling off double duty and piloting his Discount Race Car Parts/FinishLine Graphics/Checkered Flag Paving & Excavating/Sweere Trucking #S Shaw by Taylor, got the job done to win his sixth race of the campaign. The victory continues to put him atop the point standings as well as the win chart.

Albany's Rod McCombs would end in the runner-up position in the AAMCO Transmissions of Corvallis and Newport #04 Swartz for his car owner Mack McJunkin and in third would be the Crocker's Cars/Brownsville Calf Ranch/Scott Ski Motor Company/James Gang Pizza #44T Hughes of Brian Thompson from Lebanon. Fourth place went to Sam Potter, hailing from the town of Monmouth,
the AAMCO Transmissions of Corvallis and Newport/Gun Runner Arms #44P GRT while the James Gang Pizza/Lebanon Auto Body/Linn-Benton Insurance #26 GRT of Tangent's Brett James was fifth.

An entertaining race would occur in the Super Sport division. A good battle took place between Lebanon native Jeff Rash and Brian Smith of Albany. Rash would eventually overtake Smith for the win. It would be the first Super Sport win of the season for the Hackney Racing/Wirth Wireless #82 Swartz.

Brian Smith would finish second in his Knothole Market/Pratnum Co-Op/Hanson Automotive Machine/James Gang Pizza #99 Rayburn and the Mott Family Racing #16 GRT of Salem's Chris Mott was third. The Swan Island Sandblasting/Hanson Automotive Machine/James Gang Pizza #61 MasterSbilt of Vancouver, Washington driver Jerry Casey was fourth while getting fifth would be Clay Debban of Shedd in his Showtime Vinyl & Apparel/Brownsville Calf Ranch #84 machine.

Last but not least would be the Sportsman division. In that feature it would all be Brian Winkler. The Newberg ace would finally pick up his first win of 2015 in his Flatt Muffler/Doerfler Farms/Extreme Motorsports #88 Rayburn.

The Royalty Homes #43 Avenger of Sandy Sanders from Junction City managed to finish second and Lebanon's Casey Rhoades was third in his Desert Storm and Gulf War Veterans With PTSD/A&J Convenience Store/Omen Tattoo #55 entry. Glen Hackney, also from Lebanon, got fourth in the Hackney Racing/Wirth Wireless #2 Swartz while Jeff Rash was fifth in the Glen Hackney owned Hackney Racing/Wirth Wireless #1 Swartz.
