Willamette Speedway would host some great racing on Saturday June 13th. A couple of new faces would end up in victory lane while the rest were repeat winners in 2015. The classes that would be in action included Super Dirt Late Models, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

Getting the lead around lap fifteen teenager Bricen James would blaze the trail of the Super Dirt Late Model field. He would have his hands full though around the halfway mark with the Mid Valley Farms/Bayer Crop Science/Ground and Water/Farmland Tractor Supply #2 Trak-Star of multi-time champion Trevor Glaser of Tangent. Unfortunately Glaser would get a flat tire taking him out of contention for the win. James, of Albany, would continue to lead the rest of the race in his James Gang Pizza/Lebanon Auto Body/Crocker's Cars #13 Swartz for his first Late Model feature victory at Willamette.

Able to get the lead early in the Super Sports, Brian Smith was dominant in his Knothole Market/Pratnum Co-Op/Hanson Automotive Machine/James Gang Pizza #99 Rayburn. Smith, of Albany, would walk away with main event to win his second Super Sport main of the year. Same case could be said for the Sportsman feature. Lebanon's Jeff Rash got the Glen Hackney owned Wirth Wireless/Hackney Racing #1 Swartz to the front in the first few laps and eventually to victory lane to score his second triumph of 2015.

The Buz's Equipment Trailers/City Sprint Delivery/Old Iron Classics #01 Camaro of Craig Loomis from Vancouver, Washington was fast for much of the Street Stock race until he would lose the lead around the halfway point. Gresham's Kevin Roberts would get to the front in his Big Sky Landscaping/Powers Transport/Gray's Automotive #88 Camaro. But it would end up being a photo finish at the stripe with the win credited to Roberts for his first win of the season over Loomis.

Willamette Speedway will host the final two legs of the Wild West Modified Shootout on Friday June 19th and Saturday the 20th. Drivers from all over the country are making the journey to race at the historic 1/3-mile clay oval. Support classes to the IMCA Modifieds are Super Sports and Street Stocks.

Both nights the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for each event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
