Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway again will host two nights of racing this coming weekend beginning with the sixth Kart race of 2014 on Friday July 18th and the Coors Clay Cup on Saturday the 19th. Classes in action on Saturday will consist of the X-Factor Race Cars Late Models, Crocker’s Cars Super Sports, Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

In the X-Factor Race Cars Super Late Model ranks Joey Tanner continues to have the most wins of the season with three including the Clair Cup and the Firecracker 100. Justin Duty and Rob Mayea are level at two wins as the only two drivers that have more than once this year. John Duty, Steve Moore, and Collen Winebarger have one visit to victory lane apiece.

In the Crocker’s Cars Super Sports it has been Bricen James’ year of conquest. Dominating the win column he has amassed five victories in the last six starts while Gil Pickett has won twice. Tim Archer is the only driver who has won once.

In the Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman check this stat out. Five drivers are tied for the most victories in 2014 with two wins apiece. Those drivers include Briley Pompe, Brian Winkler, Brian Smith, Jeff Rash, and Ron Berry. The only driver with one triumph this year is Jeff Marson with a single trip to the winner’s circle.

Justin Evans and Kyle Yeack have two wins each in the Street Stock classification which is the most this year. Bricen James and Erik Jarnport have one win each while Ron Shinkle won the non-point Sportsman vs. Street Stock challenge earlier this month.

General admission to the Friday Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 4:00 PM and Racing is scheduled to begin around 6:30.

On Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
