Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway is back in action this Saturday May 31st after coming off of the highly successful Clair Cup presented by Les Schwab Tires. Classes in action at the historic 1/3-mile clay oval will include Wirth Wireless IMCA Modifieds, Crocker’s Cars Super Sports, Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman, and 4-Cylinders. Also the W.R.S. 4-Cylinder Late Models will be in the house.
With four Wirth Wireless IMCA Modified events in the books there have been four different winners. Kyle Yeack and Monte Bischoff would earn the wins in the first two installments while Craig Cassell and Collen Winebarger would find themselves in victory lane during the Clair Cup weekend. Will 2014 be a year where we see a different winner each week?
In two main events there have been two different winners in Crocker’s Cars Super Sports action. Gil Pickett and Tim Archer are the only two drivers who have picked up wins this year in the class. And in the Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman Jeff Rash, Brian Winkler, Briley Pompe, and Ron Berry have all achieved wins in 2014.
May 31st will mark the first night of action this season for the 4-Cylinder division at Willamette. Also the W.R.S. 4-Cylinder Late Model Series is always a treat to see as they look to thrill the fans this weekend.
