Cottage Grove, Oregon- The American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region will make their way through the great state of Oregon one last time. The cars and stars of the most premier series in the Pacific Northwest will visit three tracks over the course of two weekends.

Saturday August 17th will start everything off where they will have a standalone event at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon. It will be the fifth time the series has visited the historic 1/3-mile clay oval. Four drivers have visited victory lane in the previous four events including Kyle Hirst, Travis Rilat, Jeff Swindell, and Brad Loyet.

The ASCS-Northwest Region will be back in action on Friday August 23rd at the Cottage Grove Speedway followed by an appearance at the Sunset Speedway Park on Saturday the 24th. The tour has held a total of five races at “The Grove” in 2013 all of which have been won Roger Crockett. That includes the two events that were co-sanctioned with the ASCS-National Tour in late July.

The race on August 24th will be the first visit of the season to the “Banks Bullring”. Since 2008 there have been three ASCS-Northwest events that have been completed. In those three races Roger Crockett has won twice while Kyle Hirst has just done so once.

After the Oregon swing is completed there will be just two races left on the 2013 schedule. Those two races will occur at the Central Washington State Fair Raceway in Yakima, Washington on Friday September 20th and Saturday the 21st.

The American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region is the western most arm of the American Sprint Car Series sanctioning body located in the Pacific Northwest the series hosts 360 Sprint Car racing on dirt tracks throughout Oregon and Washington from May to September.
