Lebanon, Oregon- It’s hard to believe but the 2013 Willamette Speedway season will officially be halfway complete after Saturday July 20th which will mark the Mid-Season Championship event. Classes on the card will include the DIRTcar Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

2013 has simply been a brilliant year for Trevor Glaser and crew. In eleven races Glaser has won eight of them while Russ Sell has two victories and Joey Tanner has just one. Will Glaser’s dominance continue at the historic 1/3-mile clay oval?

Mark Wauge joined a long impressive win list of IMCA Modified drivers with his victory in the one-hundred lap feature last weekend. The triumph would make his the tenth different winner in eleven shows. Other victors so far this year include Mark Carrell, Kyle Yeack, Jeffrey Rivers, Dustin Dittman, Craig Cassell, Jesse Williamson, Alex Stanford, Monte Bischoff, and Brody Pompe. All have earned one win each except for Bischoff who has managed to visit victory lane twice this season.

In eight Super Sport races there have been seven different winners in the 2013 campaign. Gil Pickett is the only driver in the class to have won twice. Bob Jeffery, Steve Moore, Randy Barley, Clay Debban, Brian Smith, and last week’s victor Danny Altom all have one apiece.

The Sportsman classification is back after a week off. Brian Smith and Todd Miller are so far tied for most wins this year with two each. Chauffeurs with just one win this season are Phil Housworth, Brian Brown, Clyde Rood, Brian Goetz, Jeff Marson, and Ron Berry.

David Cronk and Bricen James are once again tied for most Street Stock wins this year. Both have managed to win four events each while just two other drivers have visited the winner’s circle. Those two pilots are Justin Evans and Kevin Roberts who have recorded one triumph each.
