Heavy Rains Cancel Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy Racing for Friday, August 13

Sarver, PA (August 13, 2021) A heavy rain shower that passed over the speedway just as racing action was about to get under way has forced track officials to cancel tonights festivities for the Peoples Gas Sprint Cars, Precise Racing Products Late Models, Diehl Automotive Big Block DIRTcar Modifieds, and the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds at the ˜Action Track.

After two storms that were forecasted earlier in the afternoon had passed and with less than a 60% chance of inclement weather forecasted, officials were optimistic that the rains would miss the speedway to get the show in. Unfortunately, as the checkered flag fell on practice for the Fab4 divisions, lightning began to fill the sky outside of turns three and four. After evacuating the stands for the nearing lightning, the hope of the weather passing over diminished, forcing cancelation of the nights events.

Lernerville Speedway will be back in action next Friday, August 20 when it will be Manufacturers Night that will include a regular Fab4 weekly event. Pit gates for next Fridays Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy weekly show open at 4:00 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps are slated to begin at 6:50 and racing to begin at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, August 27 ˜The Action Track will hold the ˜Sprint Car Spectacular that includes the Peoples Sprints, the Allegheny Sprint Tour 305 Sprints as well as the RUSH Sprints!
