2020 Season Begins at Lernerville Speedway for Perricone
Not only is the world changing with the Pandemic, but Jim has moved to Pittsburgh in 2020. Jim is now the General Manager of The Oaklander Hotel, a Autograph Collection property on Pitt campus in the heart of Oakland. Lernerville Speedway will become Jim's home track for the 2020 season. Perricone Motorsports is working out the final details with 2-time Track Champion Carl Bowser to run a second car at Lernerville. The team is looking to have the car ready to go in the next couple weeks. Jim would like to run about 10 local shows at the track in the next 4 months. Perricone Motorsports still has their J&J AutoRacing, Gaerte Engines 410 ready to run some World of Outlaw events in the Midwest starting in August. The team is really appreciative of the support from Carl Bowser and having Precise Racing in our backyard to assemble a second car to race at Lernerville. With a shortened season at Lernerville, Jim maybe eligible for Rookie of the Year honors in the 410 division at the track. Jim is excited to be back in Pennsylvania and in the heart of Western PA sprint car scene.
