Action Track Preview-2020 Season Kicks Off Friday Night with Fab4 Racing

Sarver, PA (June 18, 2020) Opening night has been a long time coming in 2020, but the season is finally here and The Action Track is ready to commence a season to remember on Friday night. The Fab4 Revved up with2020 Marburger Farm Dairy will be ready to make their first laps of the season as all four weekly divisions will be present and ready to end their extended off season.

Friday will also mark the first time fans will be able to attend following last Friday's crowd less Test and Tune session. Fans will need to fill out a COVID-19 waiver and wear a mask in order to enter the speedway and will be asked to maintain their social distancing throughout the evening. Waiver forms are available on our website at Lernerville.com. Speedway officials ask all fans that are able to please print their waiver form prior attending and have them ready as they purchase tickets. The track will have some waiver forms on hand for those who may need them.

Fans are reminded that food stands on the concourse will be open, however the main concession underneath the scoring and vip tower will be closed as it is an enclosed area. We will have food trucks onsite including one from Tambellini's catering which will feature traditional event fare ranging from Hot Dogs and Hamburgers, Chicken Tenders and French Fries and a few specialty sandwiches plus drinks.

On the Track

The Peoples Gas DIRTcar Sprints, Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Moels, Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds and Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stocks will be kicking off their weekly points racing on Friday night, and some drivers have already got a jump start in early action at various speedways. Sye Lynch and Brandon Spithaler have both earned feature wins at Roaring Knob and Tri City Speedway respectively in the early going with the 410 Winged Sprint cars. Meanwhile, past and present champions AJ Flick and Jack Sodeman Jr. have been getting their chances eat speedways such as Port Royal, Lincoln, Attica Raceway Park and Wayne County Speedway with all earning top 10 if not top five results.

Thus far, Michael Norris, Tyler Dietz, Matt Lux and former champions Alex Ferree and Jared Miley have all brought their 2020 pieces out several times already and achieved solid finishes thus far in Super Late Model action. In the Big Block Modifieds, Garrett Krummert drew first blood in the area racing scene this year, capturing the BRP Modified Tour opener at Bedford Speedway on Sunday night, while former track champion Joe Kelley and title contender Joey Zambotti have one win each in action thus far with the area Pro Stocks.

Incentives Galore in 2020

There'll be more reasons than ever to call The Action Track home for area drivers in 2020 as the off season brought some well earned changes and sponsors to make racing a little sweeter this year.

As was announced earlier this offseason, the Tomson family upped the ante for drivers with a 10% purse increase across all divisions. But the good news didn't stop there as Phil DiLucente and Associates joined the Lernerville family as a sponsor this year and pleged $30,000 towards the weekly Fab4 purse and point fund with the "Pad the Purse" program. The program will also be expanded to help make up some ground for earlier shows that were canceled. Those changes include a special $4,000 bonus to be divided to the top 10 positions in the two lucky divisions on Chanpionhip night on October 9 and $3,000 bonus nights on August 14 and 28 and September 4 and 18.

The incentives kept rolling as Hovis Auto and Truck Supply provided funds for our driver loyalty rewards program which will offer a free pit pass for the driver starting with their fifth weekly race and extending through the rest of the season on Fab4 Friday nights.

Kids Club Resumes in 2020

The Lernerville Kids Club will return to action this Friday night as they prepare a special Father's Day Craft and lead the crowd in reciting the pledge of allegiance. Founders Jennifer McPherson and Lisa Hartman gave children an even greater time at the speedway in their first year as organizers with well planned, fun activities all season long in 2019 and will be doing so once again this year.

Kids Club will meet under the turn four grandstands by the picnic tables at 6:30 pm on Friday. The club is open to all children and meets every Fab4 Friday night.

Pit gates will open at 4 pm on Friday night with grandstands opening at 5 pm and racing starting at 7:30 pm. Adult general admission will be $15 and $12 for seniors. Students ages 11-17 will be admitted for $10 and children 10 and under are free. Pit passes are available for $25 for DIRTcar Members and $30 for non members. We look forward to seeing you there!
