Sarver, PA (June 6, 2019) One of the most anticipated nights of the season unveils on Friday night as our Fan Appreciation Night presented by #1 Cochran takes center stage at The Action Track. There'll be some fantastic racing on the track and the sky will be well lit with Fireworks to the delight of fans in attendance. So far, 16 different winners have made their way to victory lane on four consecutive race night programs in a season that has seen it's fair share of twists and turns. What round five of the Fab4 Revved up with Marburger will bring might just be anybody's guess as far as whom me might see take a surprise victory.
Last week in Peoples Gas DIRTcar Sprint action Jack Sodeman Jr. scored his first feature victory of 2019, holding off a challenge from AJ Flick in the process. Currently in the mix as far as the points battle is concerned are Flick, Sodeman Jr and Ralph Spithaler with Flick vying for his third consecutive title and Sodeman making a bid for his second career championship.
In the Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models, Kenny Schaltenbrand spun and won as he saved the car in an amazing effort after having spun coming out of turn four and pegged a late race restart in collecting his first feature victory at Lernerville since 2010. Schaltenbrand brings the points lead into Friday night with Kelvin Kohan, Mike Norris and Colton Flinner in a tight pack behind him. Meanwhile, Jeremiah Shingledecker took a convincing win in Diehl Automotive Big Block Modified action as he stretched out a late race lead over Rex King Jr. and Sr to take his first win of the season last Friday night. King Jr was able to take the points lead away from Brian Swartzlander who suffered a flat rear tire late in the race running in the top five.
The nip and tuck battle continues in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stocks as last Friday's winner Tyler Dietz, and previous feature winners Joey Zambotti, Corey McPherson and Ryan Moyer all find themselves at or near the top of the standings. At this time, for a second straight year, it is looking more and more like a fight to the finish involving a tight pack of cars for supremacy in the division.
The Sprint to Checkers Sprint Car bonus program from Fence by Maintenance Service now has a jackpot set at $600. If a Peoples Gas Sprint Car driver is currently in the top 10 in the points standings, they will draw to be selected as the driver of the night, and should they reach Terry Bowser Excavating Victory Lane, they'll receive their winnings plus $600.
The Lernerville Kids Club will be in action once again this Friday night participating in Carnival Games with prizes and will be leading the crowd in the reciting of our pledge of allegiance. The Kids Club meets under the turn four grandstands at 6:30 pm and is free for all children.  Also, fans who normally take main street in Butler on their way to the track may need to find an alternate route as it will be closed starting at 5 pm on Friday.
Pits will open at 4 PM on Friday with grandstands opening at 5 pm. Racing will start at 7:30 pm sharp! Adult general admission is $15, $12 for seniors, $10 for students ages 11-17 and children 10 and under are free.
