Summer Vacation Race Night Offers Something For Everyone

 

Sarver, PA (June 2, 2019) It's time for something completely different at The Action Track this Wednesday, June 5 as our annual Summer Vacation School Bus Races and Kids Bike Races take center stage. And there'll be something for everyone on the agenda as a different kind of race night unfolds.

The wildly entertaining school buses are back for the first of two appearances at Lernerville in 2019 and will be thrilling those in attendance as the battle for the win. Meanwhile there will be Powder Puff Bus races as well.  The inaugural Dougie Tomson Autism Awareness Bus Race will be taking place, drivers were selected during this past Fab4 Friday night to take part in the six touring buses which will makeup the field. All proceeds collected in the ticket and drawing process were donated to the Autsim Society of Pittsburgh as part of our very successful Autism Awareness night.

Kids Bike Races have been a part of the culture at Lernerville for years and once again will be part of the action as we'll race on the front stretch.  There'll be trophies for all race winners and a photo moment in Terry Bowser Excavating Victory Lane. All participants must bring their own bike and helmet.

The first of our three part 100-lap Enduro series will be one of the evening's highlights once again as the yellow flag is put away and a great deal of cars will try to be fast and make it last for 100 laps with the winner coming away with $1,000. The thrills don't stop there though. Carnage will be on the menu as we offer a Demolition Derby and Trailer Races finish out the night of events

Pits will open at 4 pm and grandstands at 5 pm  with racing starting at 6 PM. Adult general admission is $15, $12 for seniors, $10 for students ages 11-17 and children 10 and under are free of charge. We look forward to seeing you there!
