Dougie Tomson Autism Awareness Bus Race Gives Fans a Chance to Take the Track.

Sarver PA (April 28, 2019) A very special bus race will be joining the lineup at our annual "Summer Vacation School Bus Race night on Wednesday, June 5, and there are opportunities for fans to race and be a part of the fun while raising funds for the Autism Society of Pittsburgh. The Dougie Tomson Autism Awareness Bus Race will feature a unique format as participants will be drawn from the crowd at our Fab4 race night on May 31. The charter buses, donated by American Steel Processing, will be completely race ready including a five point harness and will have their own race for the night in addition to the School Bus Races, Kids Bike Races, Trailer Races, Demolition Derby and Enduro 100.

Fans can purchase tickets for a chance to have their name drawn on Friday, May 31, on race nights or stop by the track office at 313 North Pike Road in Sarver, PA. Tickets can also be ordered and mailed by calling 724-353-1511. Tickets are $5 and lucky fans who are selected on May 31 may either elect to race on June 5 or designate a driver of their choice. There will also be one starting position in the bus race which will be open to an auction on May 31 where fans can bid on the chance for the final spot if they did not get drawn earlier in the evening.

The remainder of our Autism Awareness Night events will take place as planned on Friday, May the 10th where we will have raffle items available and drivers will be coming through the stands with their helmets for donations.

This coming Friday night, The Ollie's Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars will make their one and only visit to The Action Track in 2019! Expect to see some of the best Sprint Car drivers in the country grace the clay in a $5,000 to win, 30 lap battle. Adult general admission is $25, $15 for students ages 11-17 and children 10 and under are free. The All Stars will be joined by the Allegheny Sprint Tour 305 Sprint Cars. Come see the "Steel City Outlaw" Tim Shaffer, 2018 All Star champion Aaron Reutzel, Cory Eliason and more take on AJ Flick, Jack Sodeman Jr., current All Star touring driver George Hobaugh and the best of the best from the area.
