Trevor Baker cracks into the top-ten at Lernerville Speedway

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

SHREVE, Ohio (July 31, 2018) - For the second time in as many weeks, 410c.i. sprint car sophomore, Trevor Baker, earned a top-ten finish during feature competition, this time while in action at Western Pennsylvania’s Lernerville Speedway on Friday night, July 27. Baker finished tenth during his visit to the Sarver, 4/10-mile oval, solidifying his feature starting position by finishing fourth during his respective Fab4 heat race.

Nearly earning the second win of his young career, “T-Rev” was well on his way to a feature triumph on Saturday night at Wayne County Speedway when disaster struck. With less that five laps remaining, Baker ran out of fuel while holding down the top spot. An array of cautions was most likely the culprit.

“Man, we were so close. I guess there’s nothing we can do about it now. We’ll just move forward and do what we can to get back up front the next time we are at Wayne County,” Trevor Baker explained, driver of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/H&S Concrete/Mid Ohio Diesel/Amsoil Stone Creek Lube/Triple-X Chassis/No. 45 sprint car. “I can’t thank my crew enough for their hard work this weekend. The cars were right where they needed to be all weekend. I truly appreciate their efforts. It’s not easy being out here and doing this kind of stuff. Lucky for me, I’m surrounded by people who love this sport and would do anything for it.”

Trevor Baker’s upcoming plans stand as undecided. Choices for Friday and Saturday, August 3 & 4, include a potential trip to Atomic Speedway, or stay close to home and join the fields at Lernerville Speedway and Sharon Speedway on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
