10th Annual Firecracker 100 headlines an Action-packed June
School Bus & Kids Bike Races, Fireworks & Mid-Season Championships also on tap
 

Sarver, PA (June 6, 2016) As the month of June rolls on, the Action on the Track continues to heat up as the 10th Annual Firecracker 100 draws near.  Racing resumes this Tuesday, June 7 with œSummer Vacation? School Bus & Kids Bike Races with Enduro 100 and Trailer Races.  Gates will open at 5:00PM, with opening ceremonies scheduled to commence at 7:30, followed by School Bus Heat Races and then Kids Bike Races.  Kids ages 12 & under are encouraged to bring their bikes to race on the front straightaway, but are required to bring and wear helmets.

 

Fab4 Racing Fueled by Turners Premium Iced Teas continues this Friday, June 10 for Holiday Races with Fireworks on #1 Cochran Fan Appreciation Night.  Hundreds of employees from Peoples Natural Gas and the Sheet Metal Workers Union will be on hand to enjoy the festivities, so come early to ensure your favorite seat!  Despite the Fireworks, admission prices remain the same for all Fab4 Races, but complimentary passes and rainchecks from April 29 and May 6 will not be accepted for admission.

 

Fab4 Racing will hit a fever pitch on Friday, June 17 for the Mid-Season Championships.  The Mid-Season Championships have a different lineup format, as the Fab4 Racing program will proceed as normal until it is time to redraw for the feature lineup.  Instead of the normal pill redraw format, features will be redrawn by current point standings.  In addition to the lineup nuances, each division will also have Track Provisionals on the line for their respective divisions; including a Firecracker 100 Provisional for the Precise Late Models and a Silver Cup Provisional for the Peoples Sprints.

 

Then the biggest race weekend of the summer begins on Thursday, June 23 and continues through Saturday, June 25 as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series return to the Action Track for the 10th, (yes 10th already!), Annual $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com.  Thursday and Friday are complete WoOCLMS programs with $6,000-to-win A-Mains each night.  Those feature and B-Main results will be used to determine Saturday Nights heat race lineups in lieu of time trials.

 

As always, there will be as much Action off the Track as on it, as post-race concerts are scheduled for Thursday & Friday Nights and fan interactive events are scheduled for Friday & Saturday afternoons; including a full driver roster autograph session on Saturday afternoon.
