Race Notes 7.6.18

Sprints.

 

Zimbardi with the early lead from the pole. . Garvin Jr is all over him early on. The two gain separation  in the first three laps while behind them. Mitchell Wormall lurks in thrid with Cale Conley  in fourth.  Flick on the move up to fifth early on.   Zimbardi enjoyin gth ehigh side, Garvin down low, thy're  going to be entering lappeders soon as Wormall is trying Garvin to the highside.   Wormall then spins and stalls in turn two. Caution , seven laps down,

Red flag with 10 down for hard contact between Mitch Wormall and Andy Feil.

Restart. Zimbardi fending off Conley. . Conley looking for the lead with 13 down, Conley looking under Zimbardi.  Top two have separation. Garvin now being pressured by AJ Flick. . Onley. has the lead heading into lapped traffic on lap 17. Conley, Zimbardi, Shetler, Garvin, Flick...Shetler coming out of nowehere. Flick and Garvin battle for fourth. Flick drives by on the backstretch with 19 laps down. Conley is Smooth as butter in lapped traffic. .  Conley has a  near starightaway lead with 22 laps down. Conley now being pressed for second by Shetler.

 

Late Models:

 

Wylie is your early leader. Norris to fifth from the tail. Caution with a lap down for Tom Bateman.  Restart. Norris now up to fourth and looking around Garyl yle for third.  Meanwhile,. Flinner and Wylie are battling for the win. Flinner makes the pass with four laps in the books, but Wylie is right there ti take it back.  Norris takes the eleader with nine laps down. Yellow for Clay Ruffo.

Restart....this is over...

 

Mods: Murdick and Krummert are battling hard for the lead with Krummert up high and Murdick down low.  Shingledeker moves to third. .  Krummert  now gaining separation....it's his race to lose with six laps down. .   Sevel laps down, SHingledecker works underneath Murdick for the second spot and setshis sighst on Krummert. . Meanwhile, King Jr makes his way around Murdick and hunts the second place car of Shingledecker. . .  Halfway home coming up !.   Shingledecker closing in on Krummert who has some lapped traffic to deal with. King Jr having issues with the car of Chris Rudolph...   .  Krummert leads with 10 to go! .  Shingledecker still taking looks. It's nip and tuck. .   16 down. plenty of lappers to chew on. .  Shingledecker  still trying to come up th the pass. .  krummert looking  at more lappers. .   trarffic  is allowing King Jr to reel the leaders in. > Shigledecker takes the lead in turn two as Krummert was held up behind Colton Walters....  Mike Maresca with a caution in turn two...21 down....

Shinglededker holds serve with 22 down but Tommy Marshall brings the caution.

It's a ow restart for Shingledecker.  He pegs it and here comes King Jr on the bumper of Krummert. one to go...this

 
field green.  Chase Lambert leads lap ine...Dietz takes that from him on lap two. .  Sanders on the move early.  Dietz with the early ead... a Corey McPhtwo.cautio nwith    . .
Brunell up to fourth on the restart after the caution on lap four for the McPherson spin.   Dietz is gone....out to lunch!  behind him. Zambotti and Brunell are making their presence felt. Zambotti taking looks under third running Burnell. We've to g a caution with eight laps down.  . B

 

Restart

Brunell. looks to have a handle on the second spot.  as Joe Kelley moves into third at the halfway mark....  Dietz still out to lunch. but Brunell righthere.  McPherson now back to sixth. , now fifth with seven to go.... McPherson oon the move.....Egley spins in four.  13 down.

 

Restart... Brunell slips on a banana peel exiting turn two.  McPherson now to secon dand hunting Dietz.  Five to go! And we've got a restart with Dietz and McPherson on the same row.

McPherson to the lead.    He's up top .....DIetz on the bottom,...there's contact. McPherson with a slider on lap 17....they're trading the lead at will!

 

Restart...two to go!
