A pair of big hits return for the weekend of the 53rd Winchester 400 presented by Vores Welding and Steel on October 11-13 at Winchester Speedway.
The traditional Winchester Speedway party returns the night before the 53rd Winchester 400 to the Old Timers Pavilion, following racing on Saturday, October 12.
“We know the fans loved the party in the Pavilion,” stated Charlie Shaw, owner of Winchester Speedway. “And that is where it’s returning this year.”
Making the event even more exciting is the return of past Winchester Speedway winner Brian Confetti. The former Vores Compact Touring Series and Champion Racing Association driver returns for 2024 with the amazing band “Under the Covers.”
“Under the Covers” performed at last year’s Winchester 400 party, and have been invited back for 2024. This year, the party returns to the Old Timers Pavilion, adding to the excitement of the show.
“Having the high energy of Under the Covers and then returning the party to the Old Timers Pavilion will make it a weekend to remember,” said Shaw.
“They packed the place last year, and to have them return in the pavilion will truly be a night to remember,” said Dan Redmond of the Vores Compact Touring Series.
The party will take place after racing concludes on Saturday, October 12, the second day of racing during Winchester 400 weekend. More detailed information regarding the schedule for Winchester 400 weekend will be released in the coming days.
Fans will also have the chance to win tickets to marquee short track events when they attend the 53rd Winchester 400 presented by Vores Welding and Steel on October 11-13. The grand prize for the giveaway is two tickets to the All American 400, along with a two-night hotel stay in Nashville courtesy of Live Luxe Travel Co in Indianapolis, Indiana.
It is also promising to be a special Winchester 400 weekend for competitors. Winners across all eight divisions will be presented signature Winchester Rifle trophies, and fast qualifiers will be awarded a specially engraved silver coin presented by SilverTowne of Winchester, Indiana.
