Jacob Todd Wins Thriller in Hornet Feature!

Jacob Todd led the final 2 laps on his way to picking up his first career feature win at Lawrenceburg Speedway in the Lawrence Motorsports Trailer Sales Hornets. Todd grabbed the lead from Corbin Dalton with 2 laps to go. 2 other drivers, Chevy Gibson and Kevin McCoy all battled with Todd and Dalton for the race win. As the checkers flew, Jacob Todd would be the first to cross the start finish line. Dalton finished second followed by Chevy Gibson, Kevin McCoy, and Cordell Moore. Heat race winners were Chevy Gibson and Cordell Moore. Cordell Moore had already clenched the Hornet track championship as the final race of the year was a non-points race.

Hamilton Holds on for Feature Win!

Matt Hamilton had just enough to hold on for the feature win on Saturday night holding off hard charging Ben Harmon for the feature win in the Kolossal Fireworks Insanity Modifieds Feature. Hamilton began having engine trouble during the race and with his car popping and sputtering second place, Ben Harmon was desperately trying to pounce on the wounded Hamilton. Hamilton would prove to have just enough to win his 8th feature of the year. Harmon finished second followed by Pete Holt, Nicholas Byrd and Jay Greene. Heat race winners were Byrd and Hamilton. Nick Snell had previously won the track championship as the season comes to a close for 2024.
