Wright Roars Back to Petaluma
PETERSEN MEDIA- For the third time this season Lodi, CA resident, Shawn Wright, will return to the Petaluma Speedway as the famed California Civil War Series returns to the track for their second consecutive night of action.
During round no. 9 of Civil War action, Wright charged his Wright Processing Systems/Performance Powder Coat/A S Landscaping entry from his 12th starting spot to a very stout sixth place finish in the hotly contested series.
“The car was really good last time we were there, and the track was really tough to pass on, so I was pleased with our run,” explained Wright.
During the season opening stop at the high speed facility, Wright was scored with an 18th place finish, so he is poised to continue on his finishes against the tough ‘Petaluma Posse’.
“Petaluma always has a tough local contingent to race against, so I’m looking forward to returning to action and putting together another solid run,” said Wright.
Racing action is slated to kick off with qualifications at 5pm with heat races and main events to follow immediately.
