Placerville Speedway COVID-19 Update

March 13, 2019

Delayed Start of the 2020 Championship Race Season

By now you are well aware, the precautions surrounding public health and the COVID-19 virus continue to impact us all in various ways.
As of 5:00 pm, March 12th, mandates in El Dorado County regarding the cancellation and/orpostponements of public gathering policies have led to our decision to cancel the Test & Tune scheduled for March 14th and Points Race #1 on March 21st.

We have been in contact with our county officials, who are monitoring the evolving situation and agree this is a proactive plan, and
is in the communities best interest, to do our part and not deplete our local resources by potentially perpetuating the spread of COVID-19. Even though we do not have any confirmed cases in our county, it is important for us to keep our teams, fans, employees and community safe and healthy.

We appreciate your support of Russell Motorsports Inc., and Placerville Speedway and apologize for the inconvenience this cancellation may have caused you. Subscribe to our website, www.placervillespeedway.com to receive notifications of all announcements.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you at the Sprint Car Challenge Tour season opening race on Saturday, March 28th.

Scott Russell & Kami Arnold
