Season employment in several areas available at Lucas Oil Speedway Job Fair on Feb. 17
By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- With employment opportunities available in several areas of its operation, Lucas Oil Speedway will hold a Job Fair at the track on Saturday, Feb. 17.
"This is an excellent way for area residents to explore becoming a part of our team," Lucas Oil Speedway Assistant General Manager Danny Lorton said of the Job Fair, which will be held from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. that day at the track's Diamond Cafe Lounge.
Lorton said the seasonal, part-time position openings are in concessions, gift shop, bar, pit and ticket offices, public safety, go-kart track attendants, facility clean-up and general labor.
Some positions have age requirements.
Experience is preferred for cooks and cashiers in concessions, retail sales workers in the gift shop and bartenders. Experience in law enforcement or security is sought for the public safety positions.
Applicants must bring two forms of identification to the Job Fair and at least one must be a photo ID (such as a driver's license).
"It's going to be another exciting and busy season at Lucas Oil Speedway and for anyone who's ever had a desire to be a part of our team, this is a great chance for them," Lorton said.
