Thomas Meseraull Masters Win with POWRi National and West Midget Leagues at Lake Ozark Speedway

Eldon, MO. (7/5/24) Thomas Meseraull would use patience and precision to earn his eighth career feature win battling at Lake Ozark Speedway, with the POWRi National and West Midget League, in Night One of the Independence Celebrations presented by Start2Finish TV after leading the final nine laps of the rousing feature event.

Early on-track excitement in the POWRi National and West Midgets would find Shannon McQueen start the action off with quick-time in hot laps of 13.914-second lap as teammate Zoe Pearce would notch the heat racing win.

Starting the feature field would find the high-point qualifier Zoe Pearce and Gunnar Setser battle diligently into the first pair of corners as Zoe Pearce would lead the field in the initial advantages of the opening lap.

Holding steady out front, Zoe Pearce would appear to be in fine form up front with a rapidly approaching Thomas Meseraull stalking while moving into the runner-up spot with Gunnar Setser, Branigan Roark, and Shannon McQueen all dueling behind the leading par within the top five.

Overtaking for the top spot on lap eleven would find Thomas Meseraull measure up the front position as the winner after several laps of side-by-side spirited racing with runner-up placement Zoe Pearce with Gunnar Setser holding steady placing in the final podium position.

“Zoe did an amazing job and I honestly didn’t think I was going to get past her, it really took me about half the night to get super comfortable again after the wreck last week,” said the celebratory Thomas Meseraull in the Lake Ozark Speedway winner’s circle. Adding, “This thing is running great right now and I’m looking forward to putting this FORD in the front again tomorrow.”

Staying in the hunt all event, Shannon McQueen would finish fourth with Branigan Roark rounding out the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues top-five finishers in Night One of the Independence Celebrations presented by Start2Finish TV at Lake Ozark Speedway.
