Brian Brown Set for Two Outlaws Events Close to Home This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (Oct. 17, 2019) – Brian Brown will join the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series for a pair of events this weekend.
The FVP Platinum Battery Showdown kicks off the competition on Friday at Lakeside Speedway, which is only a 40-minute drive from Brown’s shop.
“Any time there’s an FVP event it’s exciting,” he said. “They bring customers and employees we can mingle with and give them a great night of fun. It’s also great to be close to home and racing at a track where we’ve had success. That will be a fun way to open the weekend before we race in Jason Johnson’s memory the following night at Lake Ozark Speedway.”

“It’s exciting to be close to home so we’ll have friends and family there,” Brown said. “We’ve had success and beat the Outlaws there. We’ve won some ASCS National Tour races there. It’s right in our wheelhouse. I think it fits my style with big, wide, sweeping corners. It’s a track that has always been good to us. We have a pretty good package when we go there that gives us a good baseline setup. Also, our engines run really well, especially this time of the year when the air is really good.”
Saturday at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo., for the Jason Johnson Classic presented by FK Rod Ends
“Bobbi (Johnson) and those guys have done a great job of promoting the event,” Brown said. “Being from this area I’ve heard a lot about Jason’s race. Being able to go there and race in his honor is something we’re looking forward to. He’s a guy I respected on and off the track.”
