Attn: Mod, SS, and Bandit teams regarding this Friday's, Aug 21, race at Wilmot. As most should know, Tony Stewart's All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint series is co-sanctioning for the 410 portion of the show with the IRA. Tony himself is tentatively scheduled to compete. A typical All Star event pit pass is $35-$40. We don't want to do that to our faithful regularly supporting teams, so we ask that each team send us an email at fairmanager@kenoshacofair.com basically pre-registering for Friday's event. We ask that each team planning to compete in Mod, SS, and Bandit divisions email us with Division/Car Number/Driver Name. Then we want you to list 4 names of crew too, as driver plus 4 crew members will be granted pit passes at $30 each. All others will be $35. This is a typical procedure at larger events like this.
Example..... Mod / 1 / Speed Racer - Joe Racer, Joanne Racer, Bob Smith, Bobby Smith. There will a special sign in window for teams who pre-register by sending this requested email. There is no limit to how many people come in the pits overall, but there is a driver plus 4 team limit on the $30 pit pass. All others are $35. Advance spectator grandstand tickets are on sale now at http://www.wilmotraceway.com with adult tickets at $30, and kids 7-11 years old at just $5. Due to COVID, we have limited seating as we have all year, so we suggest purchasing in advance to guarantee yourself a seat. Advance ticket cut-off is 10pm Thursday night. We will sell any remaining tickets at the gate on race day. Come join us at Wilmot Raceway this weekend as we have a doubleheader as we run Saturday too as the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints run their annual Roger Iles Tribute $3600 to win, $360 to start, 36 lap event, plus the AutoMeter WI wingLESS Sprints presented by Brewington Electric have their Bill Grogan Memorial, plus IRA Lightning Sprints, and Bandits are on the card too. Teams do NOT have to pre-register for Saturday. However, advance tickets are available for Saturday too, and fans can receive a $5 discount by purchasing in advance as advance adult tickets are just $20 for Saturday. Saturday tickets purchased at the gate will be $25. The Wilmot Raceway is the place to be this weekend, Fri & Sat Aug 21-22.
